STRIDE
Operational Intelligence for Owner-Operators

Close the gap between capable business and credibility-ready operation.

Stride builds the documented systems, validated processes, and defensible governance that growing businesses need to access larger commercial and government work — then maintains them so they don't decay.

The Problem

Your systems haven't kept up.

Most businesses don't lose work because of the quality of their work. They lose it because their systems haven't kept up with their growth. The quoting process lives in one person's head. Job scheduling runs off a whiteboard and a group chat. Documentation was written once, copied from another business, or doesn't exist at all. Milestone payments take 60 days because sign-off processes weren't designed — they just happened.

It adds up quietly. Your team stops work to call the office for clarification. Variations get disputed because there's no contractual reference point. The business can't function when two key people are unavailable. You've outgrown your systems — and it's costing you contracts you should be winning. We call it Operational Drag — and it's the single biggest constraint on growth for capable businesses trying to access larger work.

How Stride Works

Two phases. One outcome.

Stride is a consulting engagement followed by an ongoing platform. Phase 1 builds credibility infrastructure. Phase 2 keeps it current.

Phase 1
Build

Fixed-scope consulting engagement. Stride profiles the business, inspects current-state documentation against a clinical standard, designs the future-state system, and delivers an executive strategic plan with a quantified Integrity Score.

Phase 2
Sustain

Ongoing platform subscription. Stride monitors document review dates, legislation changes, and standards amendments. When something triggers, you receive a structured recommendation with proposed updates for your sign-off.

Phase 1 / Methodology

Four stages. Evidence-based throughout.

Stage 1.1
Profile

Forensic business profiling — commercial DNA, technical debt, market position, hero-dependency, and risk exposure. Pre-engagement research plus discovery session.

Stage 1.2
Inspect

Documentation review against a 15-point clinical standard. Produces a quantified Integrity Score and a prioritised Action Register of every finding.

Stage 1.3
Design

Future-state system design. Converts Inspect findings into an operational improvement roadmap with rebuilt documentation frameworks and a commercial uplift projection.

Stage 1.4
Align

Strategic synthesis. Cross-validates all stage outputs and produces the executive strategic plan, Go/No-Go determination, and Phase 2 transition brief.

Market

Built for businesses that build things.

Stride has the deepest expertise in trade and contracting — electrical, communications, plumbing, HVAC, and civil. But the methodology applies to any owner-operated business where growth has outpaced the systems supporting it.
Businesses where operational performance depends on specific individuals rather than documented systems.
Operators whose documentation was last reviewed when it was written — or never reviewed at all.
Growing businesses that need credibility infrastructure to access larger commercial or government work.
Standard

Clinical, not cosmetic.

Every finding has a measurable basis. Every recommendation is specific, sequenced, and commercially grounded. Every test or measurement field must have a defined pass/fail threshold — subjective language is not a valid finding.

Integrity Score — Weighted numerical score (0–100%) measuring the operational fitness of a documentation suite. A single critical finding caps the score at 40%.
One-Look Rule — A technician completes any task from a single document without switching files, calling for clarification, or interpreting ambiguous instructions.
Path to Payment — Engineered sign-off sequences designed to trigger milestone payments within 48 hours of work package completion — not 60 days from project end.
Contact

Start with a conversation.

The first step is a 45-minute discovery session to determine whether a structured engagement is the right fit. No obligation, no pitch deck — just a direct conversation about where your business sits and what closing the gap would involve.
